Whoopi Goldberg moderates "The View" table almost daily, but she's M.I.A. in the host group message.
The revelation came after a conversation with the co-hosts about a report from British news outlet The Independent about friend groups who exclude that one person from the chat.
"We do it in our family, though not our friend group so we have the big family with all the parents, the siblings the offspring. Then we have the ones with just the sibling and parents, then the one without the parent, then one with each sibling depending on what you're talking about," moderate mainstay Sara Haines said.
After mentioning how the Kardashians have a group message Kourtney is allegedly excluded from, second-season co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin had a surprising question. "Is there a host text thread that I've been excluded from because I feel like there might be," Farah Griffin asked.
"There was one at one time," Hostin said. "I knew it," Farrah Griffin responded. "But you're on it now," Hostin said.
Then, Ana Navarro responded, "Whoopi will gladly give you her spot."
"I feel like Michael Corleone (of 'The Godfather') because I take myself off the group text and the boom, I'm back," Goldberg said. "And I'm like, 'What the.'"
Goldberg elaborated: "If I need to talk to you, I talk to you … I don't just be sending y'all stuff! I’m busy! I’m busy, you know."

Comments follow Whoopi Goldberg's comments about 'Barbie' Oscar snub
The comments about Goldberg snubbing herself from the co-host group message follow last week's "View" comments about Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie's respective best director and best actress snubs at the Oscars.
"Everybody doesn't win," Goldberg said during a co-host conversation. "They're not snubs, and that's what I want to sort of point out. And it’s not the elites. It’s the entire family of the Academy Awards who vote for best picture nominations."
"Barbie" received a total of eight nominations in the 96th Academy Awards, including for best picture, best adapted screenplay, best original song, best costume design and best production design, along with best supporting actor and actress. But Robbie, who was a producer on the film, was shut out completely in acting categories.
